I swore never to do it a long time ago. The problem is, it’s hard to say when an “upgrade” is going to involve a dramatic change in reliability. But in any case, first generation from Apple? Never!
They also have this nasty habit of not admitting to their faults and pretending that the defect rate is “under 0.1%”… until it becomes impossible to ignore. Finally, what’s up with suing people who are exchanging tips on how to fix their computers?
As much as I love Apple, there are clearly some things they could improve, at least in terms of policies.

Agreed on all counts. The fact they won’t admit anything is really annoying.
