Rainy morning in Central Park
I went on an easy six-mile run in Central Park this morning.
I run in Central Park a couple nights a week. This morning I ran the usual loop, but in reverse.
It’s the first time I’ve run the loop in this direction, and I noticed some things I’d never seen running the opposite direction in the dark. Among them was a beautiful pond at about 110th Street. There’s a waterfall near the pond, too.
I’ve run by these things countless times and never noticed them. It’s amazing how more lighting and a new perspective can expand your world.

Hi. I am also a runner. I just had an idea. Wouldn’t it be cool to have a meet me the park club. Where people who have a hard time being motivated to run or like me running in the morning would meet about 5 or 6.
Just a thought
